Complimenting the blistering Orlando heat were the sets by the Seymour Duncan Warped tour artists. With sweat dripping down the bodies of the crowd in this 106 degree heat as well as the bands on stage, Seymour Duncan pickup artists, set the place on fire! Scorching performances and blazing tone filled the air by such bands as Against Me!, Gym Class Heroes, Simple Plan, Miss May I, We Came as Romans, Pepper, Passafire, The Expedables, The Menzingers, Attack Attack! and more.
Simple Plan Goes D-TAR
Backstage, meeting with the bands and making sure that the Seymour Duncan artists were happy was Jessica Starr along with her sister Kim. Jessica brought a new D-TAR Mama Bear acoustic guitar preamp to Simple Plan’s guitarist, Sebastien who uses it for all of their acoustic sets. The Mama Bear has 16 digital presets to enhance the acoustic sound and emulate the most popular acoustic body styles and shapes. The Mama Bear also has a choice of many different inputs to choose from.
James Bowman
Against Me!, guitarist, James Bowman sporting his new Seymour Duncan pickup booster gushes to Jessica Starr that lots of the guitarists he knows all use and love the Pickup Booster so he just had to get one too. Besides doing what you would expect a pickup booster to do, the Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster can take a single coil pickup and fatten it up to sound like a humbucker.

Meeting with Gym Class Heroes venerable guitar slinger, Disashi, as well as bringing some Basslines to Alex, bass and guitar tech with We Came as Romans, and finishing the day off with an after-party thrown by Pepper. It turned out to be a great day of hot music, fun, and musical creativity for all.
